Although they’re siblings, each has a distinctive fighting style that differentiates him from the other.

Players must reach his location through the waygate in Mountaintops of the Giants at the endgame, or get a head start and complete Varre's quest to get an invitation early on. Defeating the Lord of Blood won't be an easy task as he is one of the toughest bosses in Elden Ring, so make sure to be fully prepared and collect all the necessary equipment.

Mohg, Lord of Blood, can be found southwest of the Dynasty Mausoleum Entrance Site of Lost Grace in Mohgwyn Palace. This underground region can be reached by using a waygate near Yelough Anix Ruins in the Consecrated Snowfield.

Players need to collect the Haligtree Secret Medallion and use it at the Grand Lift of Rold to get to the secret area in the Mountaintops of the Giants in Elden Ring.

Another method is by completing the first few steps of Elden Ring: How To Beat Mohg, Lord Of Blood (6)White Mask Varré questline, which helps Tarnished reach Mohgwyn Palace in the early game.

Mohg, Lord of Blood has various sets of battle moves that causes Hemorrhage (Bleed) and Fire damage. Ironically, he is weak to Hemorrhage, which means that the Swarm of Flies Elden Ring Incantation will immensely help players in this fight.

In addition to Bleed, Mohg is also weak to Physical attacks and Gravity Spells. On the other hand, he’s immune against Fire, Frostbite, Scarlet Rot, and Poison.

Armors have resistance that’ll protect players from certain damage. Therefore, for Mohg, it’s best to equip an armor that has good robustness and Fire resistance. The Elden Ring armor won’t protect Tarnished from everything, but it will minimize the damage.

Mohg will swipe his left arm and create three big slashes that explode and cause decent damage. The key is to roll away from the attack before the explosion.

The former is used when Tarnished are at medium range, and it can be dodged by rolling into it while avoiding the flame on the ground. As for the bloodflame rain, it can only occur once players get too close to Mohg. Before dodging it, circle him and land a few hits on his back, then run away.

The Lord of Blood swings his spear in 3-4 hits combos that can be dodged by rolling through every swing. There’s an opening to attack him if he slams his weapon to the ground.

Mohg’s Shackle is an item that can stagger the Lord of Blood during his first phase only. The item can be obtained from the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds near Leyndell Catacombs.

Mohg will hold his spear horizontally and then charge forward in Tarnished’s direction. If the attack is evaded, there’s a big opening for players to deal damage. Elden Ring Rock Sling is a great option, as he’s weak to Gravitational attacks.

The Lord of Blood thrusts his spear in the air and shouts “Trēs”, “Duo”, and “Ūnus” and with every counting, he’ll put a red ring around players until there are three. Mohg’s back is completely vulnerable during this move.

Blood Ritual

The Blood Ritual is without a doubt the most dangerous attack. After Mohg’s HP significantly drops, he will hold his weapon with both hands and shouts “Nihil” three times, consuming one ring each time. Each shout will cause massive damage to players and restore Mohg’s health.

Unfortunately, This attack is unavoidable, but there are methods to lessen the damage. By acquiring the Purifying Crystal Tear from Bloody Finger Eleonara, Mohg’s attack won’t affect Tarnished anymore.
