"Had a great couple of days at Mattersey Hall with Caroline, our partner from Blessed Living and The 180 Project in Blackburn. The 180 Project helps to change peoples lives by blending Cross Fit with Education and Life Coaching. People get physically, mentally, emotionally well, and socially connected. Caroline and her husband Darren are currently searching for their first property with Green Pastures, as they've seen providing a home makes such a difference alongside their programme of helping people get well.Whilst at Mattersey I met Janet, whose in conversation with us to see what she can do to provide support to those who have been made homeless. Just a little snippet into the incredible work of our Partners, from PM Chris..."Great meeting at the Olive Branch a crisis drop-in centre in Hounslow. The Olive Branch is a collaboration between 3 churches and is located at Holy Trinity Church, Hounslow. Very impressed at the support they provide - a three day drop-in service, which includes breakfast, a shower, clothes, and access to a cell phone - a crisis facility for rough sleepers from 09.30 to 14.30 am.Staff members include a psychologist, two mental health nurses, one social worker, two rough sleeper case workers from London Borough Hounslow, and two rough sleepers mental health caseworkers.Exercise classes for those with reduced mobility are offered by Stay Active4life from 11:00 am to 12:00 am.On the day I visited there were support workers available at the drop-in for mental health, D&A abuse, council homelessness support etc. Food was served, clothes distributed, amazing support being given." 📸 Photos are with Sally (the Vicar of HT) and Christian (the Community Hub Manager).

Throwback to our Investor event in Manchester, last month! "We had a wonderful day in Manchester with eight of our investors hosted by Audacious Foundation, one of our partners. Also, Homes Of Hope, another Manchester partner, profiled their work and their CEO and a resident gave their testimony (very moving) & after lunch we jumped in a mini bus and went to visit one of Audacious properties and met with a resident which went down really well. "

From Homelessness to Hope 🏠We've completed on one more bedroom flat for a person who has experienced homelessness in Bradford. We are proud to have partnered with Hope Housing Bradford for over 15 years now . Their journey began when a young woman decided she could not go home at night knowing that others were out there sleeping in the cold, without having done something to make a change. Because of our investors, Green Pastures were able to buy Helen a house to use to care for these people she had met. Hope Housing has truly blossomed since it’s conception; their growing team have now tirelessly cared for hundreds of residents who would otherwise have faced an ongoing cycle of sofa surfing or even rough sleeping. 📸Pictured is Housing Manager Mohammed receiving the keys to their new flat which is just about ready for someone to move into!
