Financial support came from the BFI Doc Society Fund (which utilizes National Lottery funding), Screen Scotland, Cinelab Film and Digital, Foghorn Features, and Autlook Filmsales, which is managing international distribution. The producers include Rebecca Wolff, who leads Grasp the Nettle Films, Sayers himself, and Beth Allan, alongside executive producer Asif Kapadia.
Excitingly, BFI Distribution has secured 'Super Nature' for theatrical release in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
