We are only four months into 2018 and we’ve already had a heap of dating news and confirmed couples. We'd like to think that 2018 is already the year of love. From blossoming relationships to rekindled romances and soon-to-be married couples, here are the 7 new celebrity couples we’ve seen so far in 2018.

Rumours of a romance between “Doctors” actress Park Shin Hye and “Padam Padam” star Choi Tae Joon have been swirling for quite some time now, but it wasn’t until early last month 7 Mar, 2018 that both of their agencies confirmed the rumours.

According to releases from their agencies, the two actors progressed from friends to lovers and began dating late last year. They were students at Chung Ang University and it seems they developed a close relationship after debuting.

Jerry and Chi-ling, who both began their careers and models, were first romantically linked in the tabloids in 2003, after he shot to stardom with the 2003 hit drama series “Meteor Garden” and before she was thrust into fame as a supermodel in 2004.

In 2006, the year after Chi-ling fell off a horse in a filming incident in Dalian, China, it was reported that the pair had split. For more than a decade, rumours about them getting back together never stopped. Just recently, rumours surfaced that the pair will be tying the knot soon in Bali, Indonesia, after the couple was seen staying together at Chi-ling’s place. However, this has not been confirmed by Chi-ling’s assistant and both Chi-ling and Jerry had never commented about living together.

Following her split from actor-singer Lee Min Ho in 2017, 23-year-old Suzy moved on to 36-year-old “Goblin” star Lee Dong Wook in Mar 2018. Suzy, who first made her debut in the now-defunct K-pop girl group Miss A started dating Lee Dong Wook after meeting him at an unofficial occasion.

The Big Bang leader and former After School member were spotted holidaying in Jeju Island towards the end of 2017, sparking speculation that they are dating. Nothing has been confirmed yet and the agencies of both celebrities have also yet to deny the speculation. Keep your eyes peeled on this one!

This reel-to-real couple started dating after acting together in the drama series, “Father Is Strange.” They were seen going on a date when Lee Joon, who is serving his national service, was on leave. The dating rumour was later confirmed by Lee Joon’s agency.

The pair who met on set of Yeon Seo’s drama “A Korean Odyssey” was rumoured to be dating after they were seen going on a date. While most agencies take some time to confirm or refute dating rumours, their agencies were quick to confirm the reports, giving us more time to celebrate the birth of a new celebrity couple.

Kim Bum, is best known for his role in “Boys Over Flowers” and recently acted in the movie “Detective K: Secret of the Living Dead.” Yeon Seo’s movie “Cheese in the Trap” was released in Mar 14, 2018.

When reports that South Korean K-pop group MBLAQ member G.O was dating “Remarkable Woman” actress Choi Ye Seul started to surface, many fans were thrilled for the couple. G.O who is currently serving national service took to the gram to confirm the relationship. He posted a wefie and expressed his gratitude to Ye Seul who stayed by his side even during bad times. Now isn’t this sweet?

Wedding bells are ringing. Yes, it is true Minhwan from K-pop group F.T. Island and fellow entertainer Yulhee are set to get married later this year. Minhwan made the announcement on his social media account by posting a lengthy message to his fans. The marriage plan has also been confirmed by his entertainment agency, FNC Entertainment. The pair confirmed their relationship late last year after Yulhee posted photos of her with Minhwan on her social media with the caption, “I don’t want to let you go.”
